Teen Organizes 400 Holiday Gift Kits to Veterans

High school sophomore Dakota Davis dreamed of a better Christmas for those who served in the military. He organized a donation collection of hygiene products, clothes, and other items for veterans staying at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. His motivation hits close to the heart. “I got a lot of family that was in the military, and a lot of friends that have graduated went straight into the combat training,” he told KCCI.
