TikToker’s Bond With Squirrels Has Stolen Hearts

Some people have a way with animals. Derrick Downey Jr. has a way with a species usually not fond of humans: squirrels. The Los Angeles resident documents many heartwarming moments feeding and interacting with the wild animals. Having the squirrels as friends has been fun for Derrick, but it’s also been a part of his mental health journey. He shared his story with Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall.
