Woman Survives Mama Bear Attack

A Pennsylvania woman was taken to the hospital after surviving a bear attack. Butler Township police said Lee Ann Galante was in her backyard when she was attacked by a mama bear around 8:30 p.m. From her hospital bed, Galante told Les Trent, “she grabs the back of my head and starts pulling at my hair.” Galante shared a chilling thought: "I’m thinking this is it … she’s going to kill me." Reportedly, the bear was euthanized by the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
