Man Dies After Gunfire Erupts on Beach During Spring Break

One man was killed and two were seriously wounded as gunfire erupted during spring break in Jacksonville, Florida. By contrast, Miami Beach continues enjoying one of the quietest spring breaks in years. Authorities credit tough new restrictions and an ad warning that Miami Beach is “breaking up with spring break.” Instead, many spring breakers moved to Fort Lauderdale. Despite some disturbances Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis says the spring breakers are welcome.
