As Google celebrates its 20th anniversary this month, Inside Edition is taking a look back at a group of so-called internet addicts during the primitive years of logging into the online world. Long before sliding into someone’s DMs, the internet was all about chat rooms and discovering new people. While the digital world has gone mobile over the years, many became addicted to logging online and hardly left their home back then.
