Why These Fans Think Elvis Presley Is Still Alive

On Aug. 16, 1977, Elvis Presley “left the building,” dying in his Graceland mansion in Memphis, Tennessee. The man known as the “King of Rock 'n' Roll” was born in January 1935 and would be 83 if he were still alive today. Since his death, rumors have persisted that Presley is still alive and living incognito. In May 1989, Inside Edition traveled to Memphis to speak to both fans who believe the King never died as well as his closest friends and crew members who worked with him to set the record straight.
