The night Mollie Tibbetts vanished from the small Iowa town where she staying with her boyfriend, a black SUV was spotted cruising slowly around the area, a neighbor said.

A woman who lives a block from the house where Tibbetts was watching her boyfriend’s dog told Fox News she saw the vehicle, which she deemed suspicious, circling the area between 11:30 p.m. and 1 a.m.

The woman said she told the FBI what she saw.

Tibbetts, a 20-year-old University of Iowa student, was last seen jogging in Brooklyn, Iowa on July 18.

The day before she disappeared, a person driving a black vehicle reportedly tried to abduct a woman on a run about 430 miles away in Miner, Missouri. Authorities there are investigating the incident.

The reward for the safe return of Tibbetts has increased to $260,000.
