Actor Ray Romano is reeling today after the suicide of his TV son.
Nineteen-year-old Sawyer Sweeten played Geoffrey, one of Ray's twin sons on the sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond. He shot himself in the head on the front porch of his family's home while visiting in Texas Thursday.
Romano said in a statement: "I'm shocked, and terribly saddened. He was a wonderful and sweet kid to be around...My heart breaks for him, his family, and his friends."

Sawyer and his brother, Sullivan played the twins for the entire run of the hit show's nine seasons. The cast came together again in 2010 for the TV Land awards.
Actress Patricia Heaton, who played Sawyer's mother, says, "The loss the Sweeten family is experiencing is unimaginable."
Their older sister, Madylin played their sister on the show.
She posted her thoughts on Facebook.
The twins vanished into obscurity after Everybody Loves Raymond went off the air in 2005. In 2013 Wikipedia even deleted their page and replaced it with this harsh notation: 'They have no major fan base and no apparent evidence of contributing to the entertainment industry in any way."
Doris Roberts, who played their grandmother says, "He was a sweet young man who will be dearly missed."
Sawyer Sweeten would have turned 20 in May.
It's reported that Sawyer's brother was with him when he took his life.
