Lisa Pontius is raising awareness about one of the rarest diseases there is after her husband's passing. Matt's symptoms began early last year. After weeks of testing, they diagnosed him with CJD. Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease is a rare and fatal neurodegenerative condition classified as a prion disease. One to two cases of CJD are diagnosed per million people each year, according to the Mayo Clinic. Lisa Pontius shared their story with Inside Edition Digital's Andrea Swindall.
