20 Years Ago She Helped Her Lover Escape Prison, Now She's Leading a New Life

20 years ago, prison volunteer Toby Dorr, then Toby Young, a married mother of two, shocked the nation when she helped her lover, John Manard, escape from Lansing Correctional in Kansas. Manard, who was serving time for felony murder, hid in a dog crate and escaped with her help. The two were on the lam for weeks before getting caught in a high speed chase with police. He was sent back to prison and Toby was sentenced to 27 months after she pled guilty to aiding and abetting aggravated escape and introducing contraband into the prison. Now, Toby is speaking with Inside Edition Digital about her new life.
