2015 Met Fashion Gala: A Party Like No Other
There is no red carpet like the red carpet at the Met Gala -- the party of the year. It features the most famous bold faced names in the world.
Rihanna stole the show in a wrap that had the longest train ever. Maneuvering for the pop star was a task that required an entire entourage.
Overnight, it became an internet sensation. Once inside the ball she wore a barely there dress.
Beyoncé never disappoints. She wore a sheer Givenchy gown with her hair pulled back in a ponytail. Her handlers busied themselves making sure the dress was just right for photos, while her husband, Jay Z, was right there to help her up the stairs.
Jennifer Lopez was a showstopper in a sheer Versace.
Kim Kardashian was not to be outdone and also wore sheer by Roberto Cavalli.
While Lopez was posing, we caught Kim’s husband, Kanye West, sneaking a glance at the star's incredible body.
Kim's mother Kris Jenner was there but didn't do interviews.
Sofia Vergara was stunning in a strapless Marchesa gown and arrived with her fiancé Joe Manganiello.
Pandemonium erupted when George Clooney and his wife, Ama,l arrived. There was even a power summit between Vergara, Manganiello, and the Clooney’s.
Sarah Jessica Parker had everyone talking about her headpiece and the dress she designed in collaboration with H&M.
INSIDE EDITION's Les Trent asked her, "When they said, 'Asian-inspired theme,' what were you thinking?"
She replied, "I think about a lot. There is so much to draw from. You are interested in history, art, music, and theater, opera, ballet, costume design."
She was game to do a selfie with Trent along with Bravo's Andy Cohen.
Yankee legend Derek Jeter arrived with his girlfriend Hannah Davis. This was first red carpet they've ever done. Trent wanted to know what life is like for him now.
Trent asked him, "Did you actually say you don't miss baseball?"
Jeter replied, "I found some other things to do, so, I am enjoying myself now."
Uma Thurman had heads turning in a sexy white dress, Katie Couric waved at her, and the two ladies kissed each other on the cheeks.
Cher rarely does the red carpet these days. She wore Marc Jacobs, and arrived with the designer. The Met Gala is very special to her.
Trent asked her, "When was the last time you were here?"
She replied, "I don't know. This is my fourth time. I was here at the first one in 1973, that was the most important one for me."
Madonna got a kiss on her hand by designer Jeremy Scott, who designed her dress and cape, which had “Rebel Heart” printed on the back, the name of her new album.
She joked to us about wearing a cape.
Trent told Madonna, "You are rocking that cape, look at you!"
She replied, "I am afraid of no cape!"
Naomi Campbell brought the heat in a sexy Burberry dress. Her date was the director Lee Daniels of the hit show Empire where she has a recurring role.
Trent asked her, "How long did it take you to get ready?"
Daniels jumped in and said, "100 years!"
Campbell replied, "No, it didn't!"
