Holly Madison: My Life Inside Playboy Mansion Was 'Living Hell'

Hugh Hefner’s former No. 1 Playboy Bunny says life inside the Playboy Mansion was a "Living Hell.”

Holly Madison starred in the E! reality series The Girls Next Door and appeared on Dancing with the Stars. In a shocking new memoir, Down the Rabbit Hole, she says that she endured years of verbal and emotional abuse by Hefner.

Holly writes that she first met the Playboy legend known as "Hef" when she was a 21-year-old aspiring model from Oregon. He was 75.

"Would you like a Quaalude?' she says he asked.

Holly says she turned him down but did move into the mansion. Holly says after she got a short haircut, Hefner "spat" at her and told her, "You look, old, hard and cheap."

She also says Hef wasn't much of a lover: "Every red-blooded American male has no doubt fantasized about what went on in Hugh Hefner’s bedroom with his harem of blond bombshells. The answer? Not a whole lot."

As for her Girls Next Door co-star Kendra Wilkinson, Holly calls her quote "the fakest person I’ve ever met," adding "I don't miss her."

Holly says when she informed Hefner she was moving out after seven years, he offered to add her to his Will, leaving her $3,000,000 provided "at the time of his death (I still lived in the Mansion)." She said, "At the time, it was more money than I'd ever know what to do with… But I didn't want it. Did he really think he could buy me?"
