Zsa Zsa Gabor's Husband Sells Off Her Fur Coats

Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband is selling off her collection of fur coats, saying he needs the money to pay mounting medical bills. INSIDE EDITION gets a personal look at the opulent fur collection of the ailing Hollywood legend.

You're looking at the glamorous fur coats of Hollywood legend Zsa Zsa Gabor, now up for sale.
INSIDE EDITION got an exclusive private showing of Zsa Zsa's opulent fur collection from her husband, Prince Frederic Von Anhalt, who says he is selling them to pay her mounting medical bills.

Von Anhalt showed one of the furs and said, "For this coat, she paid $180,000."

INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret asked, "What would you guess that just for these, she spent?"

"Altogether, it's probably about $600,000," said Von Anhalt.

"She spent $600,000?" asked Moret.

Von Anhalt confirmed, "She spent $600,000 on coats."

Zsa Zsa just had her leg amputated and is confined to her bedroom in her Bel Air estate, also on the market for $28 million.

Zsa Zsa was famous for draping herself in fur long before it became politically incorrect.

Los Angeles TV reporter Suzanne Marques modeled a Russian sable that's Zsa Zsa's favorite.

"It's unbeliveably soft. It smells rich and luxurious and it's heavy. It feels like wearing 15 pounds of just glamour," said Marques.

There's also a white mink coat that Zsa Zsa once wore to the White House.

Zsa Zsa's ninth husband says he regrets putting the collection on the market, but he says he has no choice, saying, "I'm in trouble. I need money."
