Questionable Moments of Whitney Houston

She had a voice that inspired a generation, but there was another side to Whitney Houston that made headlines around the world with her unusual behavior. INSIDE EDITION reports.

She led a life of glamour and sophistication, but Whitney Houston had more than her share of strange behavior and drama queen moments

Husband Bobby Brown's numerous court hearings provided many off-the-wall scenes.

Oblivious to the austere legal surroundings, Houston once stuck her tongue out at Brown.

At another hearing, her phone went off in open court. She took the call, then mouthed "sorry" to the judge. Later, she took part in a prayer circle during a break in the proceedings.

When Brown was accused of hitting her, Houston sure didn't look like the typical domestic abuse victim, kissing Brown in the hallway.

And there was that exuberant moment when she jumped into Brown's arms after he got out of a Florida jail.

During her performance at a Michael Jackson tribute in 2001, Houston's appearance was shockngly gaunt.

When Diane Sawyer showed her the photo, Houston bristled.

"That's not just thin," said Sawyer.

Houston asked, "What is it Diane? Tell me."

There was another fiery exchange when Sawyer brought up possible drug use.

Houston replied, "First of all, let's get one thing straight. Crack is cheap. I make too much money to ever smoke crack. Let's get that straight, okay? We don't do crack. We don't do that. Crack is whack."

And when talk show host Wendy Williams was doing a phone interview with Houston in 2003 and strayed into Houston family affairs, she got an earful.

"You all talk about me like you know me. You ain't never met me, never seen me in your damn life. But you talk about me. That's not right," exclaimed Houston.

Sometimes Houston looked haggard and old beyond her years. On her comeback tour in 2010, it was clear her voice was a shadow of its former self.

Sadly, that once majestic voice is now stilled forever.
