Whitney Houston's Reported Jealous Rage Before She Died

Whitney Houston reportedly flew into a jealous rage toward former X Factor contestant Stacy Francis after seeing Francis chatting with Ray J. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.

Did a jealous and belligerent Whitney Houston lash out at another woman, accusing her of trying to steal her boyfriend just 48 hours before her death?

That's the shocking claim being made by former X Factor contestant Stacy Francis, who says an out of control, crazy Houston flew into a rage and got physical with her.

It all happened at the Tru Hollywood nightclub. Houston and the X Factor contestant Stacy Francis bumped into each other in the VIP area. Francis says they chatted as Houston downed glass after glass of Dom Perignon. Then Houston moved on to tequila shots. Francis says that was when Houston's mood turned ugly.

Radaronline.com's Sr. Executive Editor Dylan Howard told INSIDE EDITION, "The root of the problem was associated with Ray J., Whitney's on-again, off-again lover, and what Whitney perceived to be communication between Stacy and Ray J."

In an interview with London's Mirror newspaper, Stacy Francis says Ray J. gave her a hug and congratulated her on the X Factor. Although Francis says she and Ray J. are just friends, Houston didn't like what she saw between the X Factor contestant and her man, who was 17 years younger than Houston.

Francis said, "Whitney came running over and said, 'You know Ray's my baby? Yeah, I'm a cougar, girl.' She put her hand in my face. She was screaming at me and called me a bitch. I turned to look at her and she pushed my forehead and turned my face away. I grabbed her hand and said, 'Please don't do this. You're everything me. You're my idol, you're a legend.' "

Howard said, "Eyewitnesses had previously told us that this was a physical altercation. That Whitney shoved Stacy Francis," and that Francis didn't physically hit Houston.

When security guards pulled Houston away, she fell and cut her leg. That would explain the mysterious blood on Houston's leg. And when she left the club, she was still in a rage, cursing at photographers.

Sweaty and looking a wreck, Houston's appearance was a far cry from how she had started the night. Makeup artist Reginald Dowdley did her makeup at the Beverly Hilton before she went out.

Dowdley told INSIDE EDITION, "She was excited, happy, joyful, listening to music. She was just happy to be alive and well."

Both Ray J. and his big sister, the pop singer Brandy, will reportedly attend Houston's funeral this weekend.

Hours before the nightclub fight, Houston walked in unexpectedly on a TV interview that Brandy, music mogul Clive Davis, and singer Monica were doing.

Houston could be seen on camera handing Brandy a note and Brandy gave a suprised reaction after she read it. Today, Brandy says she will never reveal its contents.

"I'm going to just not say what it was and just keep it to myself for my own personal reasons," said Brandy.
