Gwyneth Paltrow's Close Call Reveales No California Driver's License

Following her close call with a school bus while she was riding her Vespa with her daughter, INSIDE EDITION has now learned that the Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband do not have California driver's licenses.

There's a surprising new twist to that near-miss accident involving actress Gwyneth Paltrow and a school bus.

INSIDE EDITION has learned that Paltrow does not have a California driver’s license.

On Tuesday, INSIDE EDITION showed how Paltrow cut off the school bus on a Vespa with her nine-year-old daughter, Apple riding behind her. Her husband, Chris Martin and their six-year-old son, Moses followed them and public records show that Martin doesn't have a California drivers license either.

Paltrow and her family moved to Los Angeles from London over the summer into a palatial Brentwood mansion they purchased for $10.45 million.

The California DMV website states: “If you become a California resident, you must get a California driver license within 10 days.”

INSIDE EDITION’s Paul Boyd spoke via Skype to Armando Botello, of the California DMV.

Botello said, "The law applies to everyone equally."

Boyd asked, "What if you do not obtain that driver's license within 10 days?"

Botello replied, "Basically you are driving without a valid license and if you are stopped by an officer, you can be cited for that."

On Wednesday morning, Paltrow was photographed again zooming by on her Vespa with little Apple on board driving to school.
