Golden Globes Fashions Take The Spotlight

The awards were handed out on stage, but who is getting hits and misses for their fashions? INSIDE EDITION has the rundown.

The world's hottest stars hit the red carpet in high style at the Golden Globes.

Reese Witherspoon ruled the red carpet in a sleek aqua gown by Calvin Klein.

Fashion expert Lawrence Zarian told INSIDE EDITION, "It was sexy. It was sleak. She was showing off her body."

Some thought Lena Dunham, star of the HBO series Girls, missed the mark with her canary yellow dress by Zac Posen.

Red was a huge trend of the night. Emma Watson took a fashion risk by wearing pants with her daring backless gown by Dior couture.

A star was born when 12 Years a Slave star Lupita Nyong'o hit the red carpet wearing a stunning column gown with its own built-in cape.

Julia Roberts is getting mixed reviews for her dress by Dolce and Gabanna.

Lawrence Zarian, fashion expert, told INSIDE EDITION, "The one who missed the mark for me was Julia Roberts. It looked unfinished and I would expect just a little bit more from Julia Roberts."

Jennifer Lawrence's white and black Dior gown inspired some online spoofs. Fans wrapped themselves in bedsheets and black rope.

Black was anything but basic for Sofia Vergara. All eyes were on her jeweled statement necklace by Lorraine Schwartz.

Shimmering neutral colors also lit up the red carpet. Breaking Bad star Anna Gunn was overjoyed to be wearing her strapless mermaid-style gown by Donna Karan Atelier.

Deborah Norville told Gunn, "This dress is a confection."

"It is. It's a work of art," said Gunn. "I have never worn anything this gorgeous in my entire life."

Zooey Deschanel looked stunning in her cream-colored gown by Oscar de la Renta.
