Dr. Phil Wants Heart-To-Heart With Justin Bieber

Dr. Phil spoke to INSIDE EDITION about troubled pop star Justin Bieber's recent legal troubles.

Dr. Phil has worrying insight about troubled teen idol Justin Bieber, who has just been charged with yet another crime—this time for allegedly assaulting a limo driver. It's the third criminal case in just a month to involve Bieber.

INSIDE EDITION's Paul Boyd asked Dr. Phil, "What is your take on what is going on with Justin Bieber?"

He said, "We have got all of the ingredients here for disaster. Too much money, too much time. Somebody needs to get this guy's attention. I would love to sit down and have a heart-to-heart to get this guys attention."

Screaming teenyboppers and photographers swarmed Bieber as he turned himself in to police in Toronto. Cops say the charge stems from a fight between the 19-year-old singer and a limo driver who was allegedly beaten about the head last month.

Bieber's lawyer said, "We anticipate that this matter will be treated as a summary offense, the equivalent of a misdemeanor in the United States. Our position is that Mr. Bieber is innocent."

Dr. Phil told INSIDE EDITION about another fascinating case involving wealthy young people who seemingly have it all but whose lives are far from perfect—the heirs to Doris Duke's billion-dollar tobacco fortune.

On his show Thursday and Friday, Dr. Phil interviews the 16-year-old twins about the years of abuse and neglect they say they suffered in the family home.

Dr. Phil said, "These children report being mercilessly beaten. Neglected and locked in rooms for days at a time with no food. It is just staggering."
