Judge Judy's 10 Laws of Success Revealed In New Book

INSIDE EDITION caught up with Judge Judy and her daughter to find out what makes the TV personality a living legend.

Judge Judy is sharing the secrets of her extraordinary success by writing a self-help book, What Would Judy Say? Be the Hero of Your Own Story.

She told INSIDE EDITION, "My life taught me a few things, and I share those things in this little book."

She lists "Judy's Ten Laws Of Success," such as "Be indispensable," ”Lighten up,” and "Demand your worth."

“We have one opportunity, unless you're Shirley MacLaine, we have one opportunity to leave our mark and to be happy. Make yours a positive one and don't let anybody else define you,” she said.

Another tidbit from the book, she first wanted to call her hit show "Judy Justice."

She said, "I thought it might be a fun title," she says. "I was overruled."

INSIDE EDITION’s Jim Moret caught up with Judge Judy and her step-daughter Nicole Sheindlin, who wrote the foreword to the book. Nicole is also a lawyer.

Nicole said, "She is right now at the top of her game because of her wit and her wisdom and that is unique."

Judge Judy’s book is available for free. All you have to do is download it at WhatWouldJudySay.com.

Moret asked, “Why did you decide to do that?”

Judy replied, “To do it for free? Because I have millions of people who've made this journey for me a fantasy of life the last 20 years. I said, ‘You know what? Not everything has to be a financially remunerative business. Sometimes you're supposed to do the right thing.' You are supposed to say, 'You've been good to me let me be good to you.’ That's what life is about.”
