NFL Player Brings Cancer Patient to Prom

Jacksonville Jaguars player Sen'Derrick Marks make a cancer patients dream come true by taking her to prom.

NFL player Sen’Derrick Marks, a defensive tackle for the Jacksonville Jaguars attended prom with 18-year-old Khameyea Jennings who has been battling liver cancer for the last two years.

“Dreams Come True” connected the player with the teen and he arrived in his Lamborghini along to pick Jennings up for the night she'll never forget.

Going to prom helped Khameyea forget for one night about cancer and enjoy prom with everyone else. Last week he came to her hospital room for the heartfelt proposal.

He asked her, “I heard you have prom this weekend and I was wondering if I can take you to prom?”

He showed up in a white and gold tuxedo to perfectly match his date.

The football player said in a statement on Monday, “You always hear the cliché, it touched my heart' but this really stuck with me: it touched my heart. I can't let it go, it was real cool, it was unbelievable.'

He plans on keeping in touch with her and supporting her through her fight with cancer.
