Donald Trump's Miss USA Pageant Has Found A New Home
The Miss USA pageant has a home!
The cable TV network, Reelz channel has purchased the rights to broadcast the pageant after NBC and Univision both refused to air the show following Donald Trump’s controversial remarks about undocumented Mexican immigrants.
Stan Hubbard, CEO of Reelz said in a statement, they are supporting the pageant because: "...the women who compete in it, are an integral part of American tradition. As one of only a few independent networks, we decided to exercise our own voice and committed ourselves to bringing this pageant to American viewers everywhere."
In 2011, Reelz picked up the controversial miniseries The Kennedy’s after History Channel yanked the show because of pressure from the Kennedy family.
