Bobbi Kristina is Laid to Rest Beside Whitney Houston
Bobbi Kristina Brown was laid to rest beside her mother, Whitney Houston, on Monday afternoon.
The 22-year-old, the only daughter of Houston and Bobby Brown, was buried at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.
A gold hearse carrying her casket was accompanied to the cemetery by a police escort. Her grandmother, Cissy Houston, was seen sitting in the front of the hearse.
Fans gathered outside the cemetery holding photos of Whitney and Bobbi Kristina.
The private service came after a family dispute overshadowed Bobbi Kristina's funeral near Atlanta on Saturday.
During the service at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Bobby Brown's sister, Leolah Houston, walked out amid family tensions.
She told reporters gathered outside that she was angry because of words that were said at the funeral by Pat Houston, who was Whitney's Houston's former manager and sister-in-law.
"I told her that Whitney is going to haunt her from the grave," Leolah Brown said.
Before heading back inside the church, she called Pat Houston a "phony" and not a "blood relative."
"It's just getting started," she said.
On Monday morning, she will be laid to rest next to her mother in New Jersey.
Bobbi Kristina passed away on Sunday July 26 while in hospice care. It came six months after she was found face down in a bathtub in her Roswell home.
She shared the home with boyfriend, Nick Gordon, whom she met as a child when Whitney Houston took him in. Bobbi Kristina called him her husband.
Leolah Brown has said she believes Gordon was involved in the death of her niece. Lawyers for Gordon declined to comment.
Gordon did not attend Saturday's service.
Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard said he and his office are interested in reviewing the investigative file to determine whether any charges will be filed in the incident.
