Ex-Miss Nevada is Busted on Drug Charges Years After Losing Her Crown Over Racy Photos

Katie Rees, 31, was nabbed by Las Vegas Police this week, years after she lost her crown over naked photos.

A former Miss Nevada has reportedly been arrested on drugs charges - years after she lost her crown over racy photos.

Katie Rees, 31, was arrested by Las Vegas Police this week after she was allegedly caught with meth, prescription drugs, drug paraphernalia and marijuana, according to local reports.

Police say the items were found inside a rental car she was in with her boyfriend when he was pulled over for allegedly failing to use his turn signal. But Rees admitted some of the items belonged to her, police told the Las Vegas Sun.

Police said Rees also admitted to smoking meth earlier in the day.

She was booked into the Clark County Detention Center and is being held on $9,000 bail, records show.

Her attorney has not responded to a request for comment.

It comes just weeks after the beleaguered beauty queen found herself facing a string of meth-related charges following an arrest last year.

According to a criminal complaint filed at Las Vegas Justice Court, she sold methamphetamine in September and a month later, she was found with 5.3 grams of meth.

In that case, she was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, sale of a controlled substance, and two counts of conspiracy to violate the uniform controlled substances act. She has not yet entered a plea.

The charges were brought years after Rees was dethroned in 2006 when photos showing her kissing women during a Florida party emerged online.

In 2007, months after she was stripped of her title, Rees spoke exclusively to INSIDE EDITION about losing her crown.

She said: "It was something I had looked forward to since I was a little girl and to have that taken away from me was devastating, especially since it was due to something that had happened years before."
