Principal Dances Outside School to Welcome Kids Back: 'We're Here to Have a Good Time'

Principal Brian Wildeman danced to 'Watch Me' by Silento as students arrived to start the new school year at Remington Middle School in Franklin.

This principal gave kids something to smile about on their first day back to school.

Brian Wildeman danced to ‘Watch Me’ by Silento as students arrived to start the new school year at Remington Middle School in Franklin, Massachusetts.

“We want to dance the kids in,” Wildeman told INSIDE EDITION. “Show them that we’re here to have a good time.”

As a video shows, some of the students showed their approval by giving him high fives – but others are too cool for school and just walk past.

“It was a mixed reaction,” he said.

And perhaps it was a celebration for Wildeman – who was named principal after four years as the assistant.
