When First Lady Michelle Obama moves out of the White House, she says she plans to go to Target.
She revealed the post-presidency plans as she appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday night.
She told the host: “I want to do little things like open a window! I want to go to Target! I want to drive!”
A confused Colbert responded: “I’m sorry, you don’t have security clearance to open a window?”
She responded: "The window opens if I press it in the car and everybody's like, 'Oh, my God, what was that?' One day, as a treat, my lead agent let me have the windows open on the way to Camp David. It was like five minutes out, he was like, 'The window's open. Enjoy it!'"
Mrs. Obama was on The Late Show to promote her cause to help spread women’s education around the world.
The first lady, along with Colbert, appeared at the Global Citizens Festival on Saturday in New York City. It was there when she announced #62MillionGirls – an initiative part of her Let Girls Learn cause. The cause aims to help 62 million girls around the globe go to school.
