Police are looking for a man they say got a manicure at a Philadelphia nail salon - before pulling out a gun and robbing the place.
The man went into the salon on Sunday to get his nails done before pulling out a sawed-off shotgun, police said. He then allegedly rummaged through drawers and took cash from the business.
A manicurist told CBS News: “He point the gun at her and asked her to give him money.”
Philadelphia Police Captain Malachi Jones added: “It’s pretty nervy to sit into a nail salon and actually get a manicure and then produce a gun and announce a robbery. And he was very serious about what he was doing.”
Surveillance video captured the alleged robbery and was released by the police. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 30 to 40 years old with a stocky build. He's about six feet tall with a salt-and-pepper beard. He was wearing a gray hoodie, a dark baseball cap, dark pants and black-and-white sneakers.
