The boyfriend, 61, told police he had sat down to sketch the fish when his girlfriend became angry, moved it and left the room.

The fish fell and broke, and when the woman returned to the room, she blamed her beau for the damage and began hitting him and poking him with it around 1:45 a.m., police said.

He called 911, but police did not arrest the woman due to health issues and the boyfriend refused medical attention, officials said. He suffered a cut to his hand.
