Luka Magnotta, 33, is serving a life sentence without the chance of parole for 25 years. He killed and chopped up Jun Lin, 33, and then mailed Lin’s body parts to elementary schools and political party offices.

Lin was an international student from China and his killing sparked an international manhunt. He went missing in 2012. A video of his killing was posted online that year, which showed his body being cut up, according to authorities.

Magnotta was arrested in Berlin, where he was reading news reports about himself when police arrived to arrest him. He was convicted of murder last year in Montreal.

His recent letters, obtained by the Sun, contain descriptions of sunbathing, pizza parties, fitness training and facials, according to the paper.

He is incarcerated at Archambault Institution, located about 40 miles from Montreal, the paper reported.

An unnamed recipient of the letters showed them to the paper. Some are signed “Love Forever, your delicious Little Cupcake XOXOXOXO,” the Sun reported.

Magnotta is the subject of a CBC News documentary, Hunting Luka Magnotta.
