October 11th was a tough night for football great Brett Favre, both personally and professionally.

The Minnesota Vikings quarterback took the field in the midst of a scandal in which he is accused of texting nude photos of himself and leaving voicemail messages for sports reporter Jen Sterger.

At Giants Stadium in New Jersey, Favre had to endure the chants of an angry crowd that screamed their disapproval of the disgraced quarterback.

"[Expletive deleted] you Favre!" and "Favre, you [expletive deleted]!" the crowd screamed.

A tearful Favre apologized to his teammates for the distraction the bombshell sex scandal has caused. During a press conference after the game, he refused to elaborate on what he told them.

"That's between me and my teammates. Apparently not all of them," he said when questioned.

To make matters worse the Vikings lost the game, even though Favre threw a record-setting 500th touchdown pass.

Favre side-stepped questions from reporters about the scandal.

"Is the allegation against you true or false?" one reporter asked.

"If you want to talk about what happened in the football game tonight, I'd love to," he responded.
