Secret Santa? Thousands of Cans of Perfectly Good Coffee Wash Up on Florida Beach
Just in time for Christmas miracles: thousands of cans of Cafe Bustelo coffee washed up on a Florida beach, undamaged and perfectly sealed.
Enter scores of nearby residents, who picked the Indialantic shore clean of the signature yellow-and-red cans stuffed with Cuban-style java. Freeze-dried packages of the brand also showed up.
In two hours, the beach was coffee-free.
People carried away bags full of the popular, dark coffee, beachgoers said.
"I just woke up and saw all these yellow things, what seemed to be thousands of them, scattered across the beach," resident Laurie Cus told ABC News.
The caffeinated swag was believed to have been part of shipping containers that fell off a barge in Florida waters over the weekend.
