One Australian couple flew all the way to California to have a 'Star Wars' themed wedding.

One Australian couple flew all the way to Los Angeles to not just see the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens but also to get married in front of the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood.

Caroline Ritter, 34, and Andrew Porters, 29, said their “I do’s” in front of Chewbacca, R2-D2 and Jedi Knights.

Darth Vader walked the bride down the aisle outside the theater while Obi-Wan Kenobi officiated and guests dressed as Stormtroopers. The honeymoon, of course, was spent watching the movie.

The wedding was planned 18 months ago when the release date for The Force Awakens was announced, according to TheWrap.com.

Fans from around the world are hyped for the latest installment to the franchise. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg posted a photo of his newborn daughter, Max, dressed up as a Jedi.

The Force Awakens is expected to take in a whopping $200 million this weekend but with huge crowds, tighter security measures are in force.

Fans have been told by some theaters they can come dressed as their favorite Star Wars character but don't even think about wearing a mask or carrying a light saber or a back pack. The items are banned but despite the strict rules the frenzy continues.
