Adolf Hitler Really Did Have Only One Testicle, New Medical Report Says

According to a German historian, the Nazi dictator had just one testicle - really.

Adolf Hitler had just one testicle, according to a new report based on old prison medical records, a German historian claims.

The notion that the diabolical dictator was missing a vital part of his manhood has been debated for decades. During World War II, Allied soldiers sang a raunchy song with lyrics about the Fuhrer having a biological shortcoming, as well as musings about the size or absence of genitalia belonging to Heinrich Himmler, Hermann Goring and Joseph Goebbels.

It was sung to the tune of the Colonel Bogey March (think The Bridge on the River Kwai and whistling).

But Professor Peter Fleischmann of Erlangen-Nuremberg University said this week that an examination of long-lost records showed Hitler had "right-side cryptorchidism," meaning his right testicle never descended, The Telegraph reported.

The records are reportedly from prison examinations made when Hitler was arrested in1923 at the Munich Beer Hall Putsch, a failed coup d'etat against the Bavarian state government.

The undescended teste was noted by prison Dr. Josef Steiner Brin, who also listed Hitler as an artist and writer who was "healthy and strong." The prison medical records were long considered lost, but reappeared in 2010, the paper reported.

They were then seized by the Bavarian government and have only recent been reviewed, the paper said.
