College Gymnast Slays Her Floor Routine

UCLA senior Sophina DeJesus, 21, did the whip, the Nae Nae and hit the Quan during the competition

A college gymnast pulled out all the stops during a floor routine and helped lead her team to victory, busting out popular dance moves in between impressive tricks that wowed judges and spectators.

UCLA senior Sophina DeJesus, 21, did the whip, the Nae Nae and hit the Quan as she made transitions to flips, tumbles and the splits during the competition, video shows.  

“It had just about everything,” one commentator said.

“It was fun to watch!” another said as the crowd went wild.

Judges gave DeJesus a nearly-perfect score of 9.925 for the performance.
