How Accurate Is the Bronco Chase Scene in the O.J. Simpson Miniseries?

The real footage tells a very different story.

So which was more dramatic: The recreation of O.J. Simpson's Bronco chase through Southern California or the real thing that unraveled on live TV in 1994?

INSIDE EDITION has clips from both. Tuesday night's episode of "The People vs. O.J. Simpson" reenacted the infamous pursuit. Judge for yourself how accurate it looked compared to news video of cheering bystanders egging Simpson on as he headed for his Brentwood estate, chased by a phalanx of police cars.

IE also talked to former LAPD detective Tom Lange, who was on the phone with Simpson as he rode in the back of the Bronco, and viewed artifacts from the trial.

"I said, 'If you get out of the car with the gun in your hand, they will drop you,''' Lange recalled.

The Bronco, now hidden in a garage 200 miles from Los Angeles, is well-preserved, IE found.

As is the infamous, blood-soaked leather glove that Simpson was told to try on during his murder trial. A watch cap believed to have been worn by the killer that was donned by defense attorney Johnnie Cochran is also carefully preserved.

Both are kept in the evidence department of the Los Angeles District Attorney's office.
