Christian School Principal Charged With Molesting Two Students Inside Their Classroom

Douglas Allison, head of a Washington State First Day Adventist school, has been charged with multiple counts of molestation and child rape.

The principal of a Washington State Christian school was arrested this week and charged with sexually assaulting two young girls.

Douglas Allison, 55, head of the Mountain View Christian School in the town of Sequim, was arrested following an investigation into his alleged molestation of a 10-year-old girl, authorities said Wednesday.

The Clallam County Sheriff's Department said the investigation led detectives to a second victim, this one an 11-year-old female student at the school.

The first victim reportedly told police that Allison had sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions at the school since the beginning of the school year.

The second victim disclosed to detectives she had been sexually assaulted in similar fashion by Allison, authorities said.

Allison appeared in court on Friday on eight counts of child molestation and four counts of rape.

Detective Sergeant John Keegan told KING 5 he believes Allison molested the two girls in the classroom while his desk blocked them from the view of the rest of the class.

According to court documents, Allison admitted to the crime to police, who said he told them he was "not okay" with what he had done and that "his life had come to an end."

Authorities are working in cooperation with the Superintendent of the Seventh Day Adventist Schools in the Pacific Northwest.

A message left for the North Pacific Union Conference of Seventh Day Adventists--whose website lists Mountain View as one of its schools--was not immediately returned over the weekend.

Mountain View, a tiny school that serves grades K through 8 but has just two teachers, is closed for spring break.

When the break ends, only half of the school's students will be returning, according to reports.
