Traveler Wears Bikini Through Airport Screening
A woman wearing nothing but a black bikini went through airport security at Los Angeles International Airport the day before Thanksgiving.
"This morning I just decided I'm just going to wear a bikini and make it easy on everybody," Corinne Theile told INSIDE EDITION.
She was catching a flight from LAX on her way home for Thanksgiving.
"You go through security, you take off your jewelry, your belt, and I'm always saying to myself, 'Why did I even get dressed this morning?' " Theile explained.
Wearing a bikini is Theile's way of dealing with the controversial new airport security rules. She wore brown boots and a long black coat over her bikini, then took off the coat and got this reaction from shocked security guards:
"They just said, 'You're in a bikini!' and smiled at me. It was actually my most pleasant screening I've ever had," she said.
Theile may have been the most creative of all the passengers making their way through airport security on the busiest travel day of the year, but so far, so good. All those predictions of mass chaos at the airports never really materialized. At New York's LaGuardia Airport everything seemed pretty normal and it's like that all around the nation.
Even though calls for an opt-out day of protest have apparently fizzled out, they've spawned t-shirts on the internet inspired by one traveler's infamous protest to a TSA agent: "Don't touch my junk!"
