Look Out Grandma! Irvin Randle Is the New Hot Grandpa in Town

Irvin Randle, the new hot grandpa, stole hearts when his Facebook photos went viral earning him the hashtag nickname #MrStealYourGrandma.

Irvin Randle never expected his dashing selfie stick photos would earn him the title #MrStealYourGrandma.

Randle’s world turned upside down when a man contacted him for permission to use his selfies for a website that features men 50 and older who continue to stay in great physical condition.

Skeptical at first, Randle eventually agreed and soon the stylish pop-pop became a trending topic on several social media platforms.

"My daughter called me and said that I was on Twitter now. I said I’m not on Twitter, I don’t know what you’re talking about," Randle told InsideEdition.com. "She said ‘Yeah you’re on Twitter and you’re trending!'"

The 54-year-old grandfather of two had no idea what the word ‘trending’ meant but soon found out.

In a matter of minutes, three photos of Randle caught the attention of several Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook users all across the world.

"A man in Nigeria called me through Facebook. He said 'Irvin?' I said 'Yes?'" said Randle. "When he said it, I could hear people in the background shouting, 'That's him! That's him!'"

According to Randle, the man asked him if he was a celebrity and if he was able to visit him and his family in Nigeria.

The popularity didn’t stop there.

"By the time I got home, they had given me a name,” Randle said. "They gave me hashtag Mr. Steal Your Grandma!"

With his newfound fame and invitations to star-studded events such as the Essence Festival, Randle credited his style and passion for fashion to GQ magazine and his trendy parents.

“My dad was a sharp dresser and would wear these ‘Nick-Nick’ shirts,” said Randle. “When he passed, my mom gave them to me. I kept all his shirts in good condition and I love them.”

Now he's hoping that GQ might approach him to model.

"I'm waiting on the call," he said, laughing. "Please call me!"

Unfortunately, this captivating grandpa won’t be stealing any grandmas any time soon. Randle is in a committed relationship and happy.
