Dash Cam Video: Trooper Risks Life to Save Bikini-Clad Woman Running Across Interstate

The woman, wearing only a bikini, was running on Interstate 15 in Las Vegas.

A woman wearing only a bikini was saved by a state trooper who grabbed her as she ran into oncoming traffic on a busy highway in Las Vegas, authorities said.

Nevada Highway Patrol trooper David Becker stopped his cruiser in the fast lane of Interstate 15 to confront the woman, who was walking down the center divider in a skimpy two-piece bathing suit, dash cam video released by the department shows.

The woman can be seen approaching the patrol car as Becker says “What are you doing out here?” Traffic noise drones out the woman’s answer and Becker is heard saying “I can’t hear you. Talk to me.”

The woman was “visibly distraught,” authorities said and ran from the trooper and across traffic lanes as Becker chased her. He can be heard shouting “G**d***it!” as he grabs the woman and pulls her back to safety in the middle divider.

“If it were not for the trooper’s quick reaction, and willingness to risk his own safety to save the distraught female, she would have likely been struck by oncoming traffic,” the highway patrol said in a statement obtained by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
