Meet the Man Behind the Infamous Donald Trump Statues That Popped Up Across the Country

The statues were made from a cast of a real model in Joshua "Ginger" Monroe's Las Vegas studio.

The artist behind the nude Donald Trump statues that popped up in cities across America Thursday have been revealed.

The likenesses of the Republican candidate, titled "The Emperor Has No Balls" and portraying Trump in a less-than-flattering light, appeared in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Cleveland.

They were put there by the artist collective INDECLINE.

In New York's Union Square, the city parks department broke the statue off at the ankles and hauled it away, but not without taking a jab at the real estate mogul.

"NYC Parks stands firmly against any unpermitted erection in city parks, no matter how small," the department said in a statement.

The man who created the statues, Joshua “Ginger” Monroe made them from a cast of the body of a real model in his Las Vegas studio.

Surprisingly, Monroe was once a Trump supporter, but changed his opinion on the billionaire after he notoriously mocked New York Times reporter Serge Kovaleski, who is disabled.

"I wanted him to be a little on the frowning side. I wanted him to be upset and unhappy standing there," he told Inside Edition.

It took four months to make the five statues. But each was removed by the authorities within hours.

INDECLINE have been linked to other anti-Trump stunts. They created a mural earlier this year at the U.S. / Mexican border of Trump with a gag-ball in his mouth surrounded by the phrase, “Rape Trump.”
