Batter Up! Minor League Baseball Player Hits Home Run, Smashes Windshield on His Own Car

A grand slam home run is what every hitter wants, but a broken windshield... Eh, not so much.

A minor league baseball smashed a ball out of the park for a grand slam Sunday, but putting a damper on dinger was the fact that the ball landed on his own car, shattering the windshield.

Gateway Grizzlies outfielder Brandon Thomas was at bat with the bases loaded when he cracked the long home run out of the stadium in Sauget, Illinois.

Thomas proudly rounded the bases without realizing that the ball landed on his car windshield in the parking lot, smashing the window.

Sports broadcaster Sam Levitt took the photo of the cracked windshield and posted it on Twitter.
