Michael McCloskey and Jillian Rabadan spoke to Inside Edition about the memorable moment inside New Jersey's MetLife Stadium Thursday night.

“Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would turn out the way it did,” he said. “Everyone around us was screaming and hollering and flashes were going off.”

She added: "I feel amazing. I feel special. We are very lucky."

McCloskey said Springsteen is his “all-time favorite artist” and live performer.

As The Boss invited them on stage and handed McCloskey the mic, he told his longtime girlfriend: "Jill, you're my best friend. I love you more than anyone else in the world. I love you more than music itself. Hell, I love you more than Bruce. Sorry Bruce."

Rabadan told Inside Edition she believes she “blacked out” during the proposal.

She said: “I know it happened 'cause of watching the videos. I remember him with his arm around me and he was like shaking a little bit and that's when I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is gonna happen. It's gonna really happen right now.’”

Springsteen serenaded couple from the Garden State with the staple, "Jersey Girl."

For McCloskey, it goes as Springsteen sings: "Nothing matters in this whole wide world when you're in love with a Jersey girl."
