Hanks planted a kiss on the wife’s hand and told hubby Ryan that he was a lucky man.

“The whole group was very shocked and couldn't believe it actually happened. We were really glad to have it all on camera and just knew that it was an "only in New York" moment,” Elisabeth told InsideEdition.com.

But, they couldn’t end the event without a selfie. Hanks swiftly pulled out his camera, saying he needed to capture the moment.

“Tom was incredibly nice and complimentary and even spent time with our niece and nephew,
 said Elisabeth.

Hanks later posted the selfie to Instagram, congratulating the couple with the caption, “Elizabeth and Ryan! Congrats and blessings! Hanx.”
