Make America Carpool Again: Man Ticketed for Driving in HOV Lane With Trump Cutout

This motorist got himself a ticket for driving with a Trump cutout.

A Washington State man was pulled over by police for cruising in the HOV lane with Donald Trump – a cardboard cutout of the presidential candidate’s head, that is.

A state trooper pulled over the vehicle on State Route 167 in Auburn when he noticed “something about the passenger wasn’t quite right,” Trooper Rick Johnson told InsideEdition.com. Trump’s infamous screaming face was pasted to the passenger seat.

It’s not clear whether the driver was trying to trick officers but Johnson said the driver didn’t seem mad about the $136 citation he received for the act.

“They were laughing together,” Johnson said of Trooper Greg Ulrich’s encounter with the man.

The driver told Ulrich, “I thought you’d like it,” Johnson said.

Johnson also made light of the incident on Twitter.

Commenters joked that the driver's fine would be "yuge."

Ulrich said maybe he’d find Hillary Clinton next.
