Is the Ex-Beauty Queen Trump Referred to as 'Miss Piggy' Joining 'Dancing With the Stars'?

Alicia Machado may be hinting at joining the reality TV dancing competition after appearing in the audience.

The former Miss Universe, who has become a contentious presidential campaign issue in recent weeks, may be using her recent criticisms of Donald Trump to dance her way into a comeback.

Alicia Machado was seen in the audience during a taping of Dancing with the Stars this week, raising speculation that she might be joining the cast in the future.

Machado tweeted out official DWTS tweets last night after the show as well.

Donald Trump supporters quickly took to social media to call her things like “fame-seeker” after Machado emerged, stating that Trump fat-shamed her following the 1996 pageant, calling her “Miss Piggy” and instructing her to lose weight.

“I was very depressed in that moment,” Machado said.

But, some just aren’t buying her motives.

What is 100% certain -- Alicia Machado is a self-promoter who will go to great lengths to keep whatever level of fame she has going.

An insider told Fox News: that DWTS producers often approach people in the news to see if they would like to compete on the show — and if they are controversial personalities, it’s even better. Take Ryan Lochte in this season's competition, for instance.
