Flying Off Corpse: Passengers Reportedly Forced to Sit With Woman's Body After She Died During Flight

A woman died on a flight to Turkey and passengers sat as she lay there.

Passengers on a flight from Turkey to Moscow sat with the dead body of a woman who died shortly after takeoff, according to The Sun.

The 50-year-old reportedly suffered a diabetic seizure 45 minutes into the ride on the Azur Air plane after leaving her insulin in her luggage because she had already taken a shot an hour before the flight, the website reported.

Her condition continued to deteriorate during the flight, according to reports.

Flight crewmembers were reportedly unable to resuscitate the woman, who has not been named, and the episode caused passengers to panic.

Some passengers took pictures of the body, which was covered in a blue blanket and lying mid-aisle in the Boeing 757 for the rest of the three-and-a-half-hour flight.
