Cher and James Corden Update 'I Got You Babe' for the Modern Age

Cher and James Corden performed a hilarious rendition of her classic duet with Sonny Bono on The Late Late Show, but not without a few updates for the 21st century.

The legendary hit, "I Got You Babe,” was originally released in 1965 and the late night host and music icon updated it for modern dating.

The 70-year-old singer received a standing ovation when she walked onto the stage in a red sequined dress and feather coat.

Corden came out in a black spikey wig and a leather jacket, reminiscent of Cher from her "If I Could Turn Back Time" days.

"James, what are you doing? Why are you dressed as Cher?" she asked.

"It’s a Sonny and Cher song, and I just thought I could be Cher," Corden said.

"Yeah, but out of the two of us what makes you possibly think you can be Cher?" the Oscar winner said. "I mean, I'm literally Cher."

He replied: "Exactly, it's a bit obvious, but look I've committed to it now."

The duo sang: “They say we're young and we don't know, how to find love without using our phones. Well I don't know if all that's true. Cause you swiped me, and baby, I swiped you, bae. I got you bae, I got you bae.
