A Brooklyn mom who left her two-year-old daughter home alone in February while she went to work at a gentleman’s club will face no jail time.
Leila Aquino, 21, pled guilty to charges of reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child and will receive probation as part of a deal.

Aquino was facing four years, but according to the NY DailyNews she will avoid prison time if she successfully completes a diversion program.
“I left my daughter home alone and when I came home there was a fire and she passed away,” Aquino reportedly said in court.
Police said Aquino left her daughter Kalenah Muldrow in her apartment while she went to work and a blaze erupted in the home, killing the toddler.
The toddler was found dead under a bed by firefighters two hours after the fire erupted.
Aquino initially told police she left the toddler in the home with a babysitter, but later acknowledged she had left the girl alone with a television turned on.

The Administration for Children’s Services opened a case just a week before Kaleenah’s death after receiving a complaint that the girl had been left alone, according to multiple reports..
The fire was reportedly cause by an electric space heater.
