Brad Company: Pitt Makes First Red Carpet Appearance Since Angelina Split
Brad Pitt has emerged on the red carpet for the first time since his split from Angelina Jolie.
The actor attended a special fan screening in Los Angeles of his new World War II thriller Allied Wednesday. He was not wearing his wedding ring.
Coincidentally, the premiere was held on the same day Pitt was cleared of child abuse allegations after an investigation by the LAPD's Children and Family Services looked into an alleged altercation between the actor and his 15-year-old son, Maddox, in September.
Pitt denies ever abusing his children.
Pitt posed for photos with his pregnant co-star Marion Cotillard, who denied rumors that she had an affair with her co-star when news of the Jolie breakup broke in September.
He also posed for photos with fans and signed autographs.
Reporters were not invited to the event so the actor was not asked any questions about the divorce. Instead, a interviewer and film crew aligned with the film spoke to Pitt.
Pitt thanked fans for their support, telling them: “It's really sweet. Everyone has been really kind out here. It's really nice to have all the support.”
