From a 'Good Heart' to a 'Strong Baby Girl,' 3 Child Victims Identified Following Tragic Bus Crash

Several of the young schoolchildren whose lives were tragically cut short in Monday’s devastating school bus crash have been revealed.

Three of the five victims who perished in the crash were identified Tuesday by family members. The two others are yet to be identified.

Cordayja Jones, 9, is described as a “soft spoken” little girl who always had a smile to brighten the day.

On Tuesday, LaTesha Ballard, Cordayja’s mother, updated her Facebook profile photo with a Bible passage from Matthew 18:4.

“Whoever becomes like this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven,” it read.

Zyanna Harris, 10, “loved to dance' and had 'a good heart,” her stepfather told local news outlet WREG.

Zoie Nash, 9, was a "strong baby girl” who her family says is “watching" them today. DaQuesha Jackson, who is Zoey’s sister, said their brother Zack was among the many injuries of the crash. He is currently in intensive care with a collapsed lung and broken arm.

GoFundMe campaign has been set up to help the Nash's pay for Zack's medical expenses.

Six students still remain in critical condition.

The bus driver, 24-year-old Johnthony Walker, has been charged with five counts of vehicular homicide, reckless endangerment and reckless driving. He is being held on $107,000 bond.
