“Sancho” Claus is coming to town.
A 10-year-old Jack Russell Terrier, who works at San Gabriel Valley Medical Center in California as part of their pet therapy program, has been cruising through the hospital halls spreading Christmas cheer.
"Sancho," who’s volunteered at the hospital for a year now, dresses up for every holiday.
The pup is one of two therapy dogs at San Gabriel. "Scotty" is the other.
“We are delighted to have both Sancho and Scotty because they bring comfort to our patients and reduce anxiety,” Eileen Diamond, who works at the hospital, told InsideEdition.com
Sancho drives around in a remote controlled Volkswagen unless he is visiting a patient. He even wears a hospital badge with his name and picture on it as he does his rounds.
“He has a wonderful demeanor. He is very well-trained,” Eileen said.
One Twitter user, whose mom reportedly works at the hospital, took to the site to post an adorable photo of the dog.
The photo has been shared almost 8,000 times.
